Child care during the conference at the campus

We offer a qualified child care for all conference participants during the time of the conference (August 19th to 24th 2012)!

TU-Berlin offers a daily child care during the conference from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm. The flexible and hourly child care is available for children elder than 8 weeks.

There will be three rooms (EB 324, 325 and 325a), which are provided by the family office. The rooms are equipped with toys, tables, a couch, a baby travel bed, electric kettle, phone and computer with internet connection. They are located in the EB-building, close to the main building. The access with a baby buggy is possible without any problems by taking the entrance at the main gateway and the elevator to the basement.

The child care will be provided by experienced students. If you want to use the service of child care, you need to apply for it in time (see registration deadline below). Clothes, pillow and bedclothes, nappies as well as food need to be brought.

Charge

Though the charge for child care during the conference depends on the amount of children, it will presumably be 10 EUR per child and hour.

Registration

Please apply for child care in writing via E-mail at latest by 8th of August 2012. Short-term appointments will only be possible, if other children are already being looked after. No-shows of registered caring periods will be charged nevertheless.
